How to make it

  • 1. Season your chicken with salt and pepper. Let it stand for 10 minutes.
  • 2. Dip chicken slices in beaten egg.
  • 3. Dredge in cornstarch until well covered.
  • 4. Fry the coated chicken in oil until ilght to medium brown.
  • 5. Remove from oil and place in paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • 6. Drain oil from pan, leaving just about 2 tablespoons of oil. Remove bits of chicken from pan.
  • 7. Add in onion and ginger. Mix until onions are translucent.
  • 8. Put in the fried chicken slices and mix well.
  • 9. Add in oyster sauce, soy sauce, garlic powder and water with cornstarch mixture. Mix well. Cook for about 3-5 minutes in medium heat.
  • 10. Add broccoli florets. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • 11. Sprinkle salt (optional) and black peppermill to taste.
