Rib Rub

I love BBQ'ing and Smoking. I have tried a lot of rubs and mob sauces. Once you get one rub that is perfect, everything else just falls into place. This rub can be made more spicy, used if you do your ribs in the oven or the grill/smoker. Read more This recipe is good for 1 rack of ribs. See less
Ingredients
- 2 Tbs. paprika shopping list
- 2 Tbs. onion powder shopping list
- 2 Tbs. sugar shopping list
- 2 tsp celery salt shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- ½ tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- ½ tsp cayenne, OPTIONAL if you want Spicy Ribs shopping list
- 1 tsp kosher salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all the ingredients up and spread evenly, while rubbing into the meat, a rack of pork ribs. I tend to make a large batch of this at the beginning of smoking season and store it in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
