  • *USE A GOOD STAND MIXER*
  • In a saucepan add sugar, syrup, and water. stir only until sugar is dissolved then cook to a temp of 252 deg. on a candy thermometer without stirring. Remove from heat and pour over stiffly beaten egg whites. Beat until mixture holds its shape then add vanilla and walnuts at the end.
