Banana Blossom Burger

- INGREDIENTS: (Veggy Recipe) shopping list
- 1 piece medium banana blossom (puso ng saging) shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 medium onion, minced shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper shopping list
- 1 teaspoon spoon salt shopping list
- A pinch of Ginisa Flavor Mix or Magic Sarap (optional) shopping list
- Oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- Remove outer covering of banana blossoms. Pull together and remove the tough part. Tough part looks like a match inside the banana blossom. When soft leaves could be felt, usually light in color and would easily break, slice thinly, cross-sectional. Immerse with water and drain to retain its light color.
- Put in a pot and bring to boil for about 10 minutes to remove the pungent taste of the banana blossom. Remove from fire and drain. Squeeze remaining water from the blossom.
- In a bowl, combine banana blossom, egg, flour, garlic, onion, black pepper and salt. Mix well.
- Heat oil in a frying pan. Make patties depending on your desired thickness and shape and dip it into frying pan. Cook until golden brown and drain excess oil.

- Add flour and egg, and ¼ kilo of ground pork or beef. And add a pinch of Ginisa Flavor mix or Magic Sarap to taste but this is optional.
