Sandi's Blue Ribbon Marinara Sauce

- 3 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive Oil shopping list
- 1 Lrg Onion shopping list
- 6 cloves Garlic shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Oregeno shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Marjoram shopping list
- 1Tablespoon Parsley shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon basil shopping list
- 1 Tablespoon Parsley shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- Few pinches sugar shopping list
- 2 small 4 oz. cans tomato paste shopping list
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 Lrg 28 to 32 oz. can crushed tomatoes shopping list
- Italian Sausage shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions and garlic in olive oil until translucent.
- Add tomato paste and seasonings.
- Cook until paste has a rich burgundy color.
- Fill water to one small can of paste and add to sauce thinning it.
- Add tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes.
- Patially Brown sausage (I keep half of them whole and crumble the other half. Add to sauce before sausage is completely browned. (The sausage will finish cooking in the sauce adding extra flavor)
- Cook on low for several hours.

- You may add mushrooms and/or black and green olives.
