- 1/4 Cup butter shopping list
- 1/2 Cup brown sugar,packed shopping list
- 3/4 Cup Whole Wheat Flour shopping list
- 3/4 Cup applesauce shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Rolled Oats shopping list
- 1/3 Cup 100 percent Wheat Bran shopping list
- 1/3 Cup non fat Dry Milk Powder shopping list
- 1 Egg White shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon Crimson cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon cloves shopping list
- 1/2 Cup Raisins shopping list
- 1/4 Cup Walnuts shopping list
- 1/2 Cup of Peanut butter,or,Cream cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Mix with a mixer the butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the flour,applesauce,oats,bran,milk powder,egg white,soda,cinnamon,baking powder,salt and cloves.
- Mix on low speed just until combined,stir in raisins and walnuts.
- Spray baking sheet with 'Bakers Joy'
- Place cookie dough on sheet about two to three inches apart,spread dough so each cookie is about two inches across.
- Bake in a three hundred seventy five degree oven for ten minutes,or,until set.
- Cool on wire rack.
- Spread bottoms of half the cooled cookies with one tablespoon cream cheese,or,peanut butter,top with remaining unfrosted cookies.
- Chill until serving,or,wrap and freeze.
- These are large fist sized cookies,great to tote,and a good grab on the way out the door.
- A canteen of cold milk to go with...and you have started your day in a good way.
