How to make it

  • Combine all the ingredients and taste for degree of heat you like – adding more jalapeno if necessary. Chill for a couple of hours to meld the flavors.
  • Notes:
  • 1. I’m on the road in an RV traveling around the country, so I’m making use of pantry items, but the salsa would be wonderful made with freshly cooked (or leftover) cranberries, also.
  • 2. I have a beautiful jar of Candied Jalapenos which I’ve been adding to just about everything. If you don’t have, substitute minced fresh jalapeno and sweeten with honey to taste.
