Stir Fried Haddock

- Haddock fish (or any big fish like salmon) shopping list
- cinnamon stick - 1 (small) shopping list
- cloves - 2 shopping list
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp shopping list
- Onion - 1 (chopped) shopping list
- Garlic - 10 (finely chopped) shopping list
- Curry leaves, coriander leaves shopping list
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp shopping list
- Green chillies - 3 (finely chopped or slit lengthwise) shopping list
- black pepper powder - 1/4 tsp shopping list
How to make it
- Boil the fish in a closed vessel with some turmeric powder and salt. Cook for 20 mins and then remove from flame.
- After cooling it down, drain the water and peel the skin off the fish.
- Shred the fish and set aside. See Photo
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds, cinnamon and cloves.
- Add onion, garlic , green chillies and turmeric powder. Fry till onions are translucent.
- Add the shredded fish and a pinch of salt. Keep frying until the color of fish changes.
- Finally add pepper and curry leaves and remove from flame.
