Cream Cheese Sausage Bites

- • 1 lb bulk sausage, uncooked (I use mild Italian) shopping list
- • 8 oz cream cheese, softened (Neufchatel works fine) shopping list
- • 1-1/4 cups Bisquick shopping list
- • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400° F.
- Mix all ingredients until well combined. (KitchenAid mixer with the dough hook attachment works great, but you can just use your hands, too!) Roll into 1-inch balls and place on parchment lined baking sheets.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until brown. You may wish to blot on paper towels before serving, depending on the fat content of your sausage.
- Want to prep these ahead of time? Sausage bites may be frozen uncooked and go straight into the oven from the freezer- just add a few minutes to the baking time.
