Beefy Bisquit Casserole

- #1 ground beef shopping list
- 1 small onion, diced shopping list
- 2 4-oz. cans green chilis shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 8 oz. tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 tube (10) biscuits shopping list
- 1 1/2 C. cheddar cheese, shredded shopping list
- 1/2 C. sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375.
- Spray 8" square pan with vegetable spray.
- Brown beef, onion, green chiles. Drain.
- Add cayenne, garlic, and tomato sauce, simmer while preparing dough.
- Separate dough into 10 biscuits, then each biscuit into 2 equal rounds.
- Press 10 (of the 1/2 biscuits) onto bottom of the pan.
- Combine 1/2 C. cheese, egg, and sour cream.
- Remove meat mixture from heat, and add sour cream mix. Add salt to taste.
- Spoon mixture over dough layer. Arrange remaining biscuits over meat and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until deep golden brown.
