Val's Ginger Chicken

- 2 TBS. fresh ginger, grated shopping list
- 4 tsp. garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 chickens, cut up shopping list
- 4 TBS. flour shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 1/4 C. butter/olive oil shopping list
- 1# mushrooms, sliced shopping list
- 1 1/3 C. condensed chicken broth shopping list
- 1/2 C. wine or broth shopping list
- 2 tsp. ginger, minced shopping list
- 4 tsp. green onion, minced shopping list
How to make it
- Combine grated ginger and garlic. Rub on chicken and let stand 1 hour.
- Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, toss chicken.
- Brown chicken in butter/oil, drain on paper towels, drain excess fat from pan. Return chicken to pan.
- Add mushrooms, broth, wine and minced ginger, cooking until tender.Remove chicken and keep warm.
- Boil pan liquid until reduced by 1/3. Add green onions and pour over chicken.
