Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Cream together butter and sugar. Add in eggs, beat until well incorporated. Stir in eggs, vanilla and sour cream.
  • Combine dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture and mix well. Fold in 1/2 cup jam.
  • In separate bowl, combine filling ingredients.
  • Pour 1/2 of batter into greased loaf pan, spread evenly. Pour filling over, covering fully. Dollop extra jam over filling, if desired, not too much. Pour remaining batter carefully over, spread to cover. I had a little extra jam still, so dolloped more on top, and carefully swirled a knife through (down into filling). Bake in preheated oven till golden, and a tester comes out clean. Mine took almost 1 1/2 hours, I covered it with foil after 50 minutes to prevent over-browning.
  • Store in fridge, tastes better when chilled.

I have tried this cheesecake at home, its taste was delicious. I am planning to keep strawberry cheesecake loaf as a dessert item at the time of my wedding. I would ask my catering services [http://theaddisonofbocaraton.com/glatt-kosher-events] to keep these cheesecakes in the dessert list.
