- 2 small bell peppers chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup dried mushrooms (rehydrated) (optional) shopping list
- 2 small broccoli crowns chopped (or other veggie of choice) shopping list
- 1 package tofu cut into pieces shopping list
- 1/2 lb ground pork (optional) shopping list
- Soy sauce shopping list
- Sesame oil shopping list
- Cooking baijiu (rice wine) shopping list
- Lee Kum Kee brand Toban Jian shopping list
- Rice shopping list
How to make it
- Put the ground pork in a bowl and splash on some soy sauce, sesame oil and cooking baijiu, then stir with a fork and set aside. I like to do this before I chop my veggies. Sautee the peppers in vegetable oil until softened, then add the pork. Stir fry until the pork is cooked through. Add the broccoli and the mushrooms and stir fry until the broccoli reaches desired doneness. Feel free to cover to steam the broccoli. Add tofu and a little more soy sauce, stir. Spoon on Doban Jian to taste. Stir until evenly coated. Serve over rice.
