How to make it

  • Heat oil in a deep fry pan.
  • Cut Idlys into 1 inch cubes.
  • Fry them in the oil till golden brown and keep aside.
  • In a separate pan heat 2 tsp of oil and add mustard seeds, let it crackle, add curry leaves, then add onions and fry for 2 minutes. add ginger garlic paste and chillies, fry for about 2 minutes.
  • Finally add tomato. When tomato is cooked, add all the powders, soy sauce and tomato sauce, add salt to taste, saute it for a minute.
  • Add the fried idlies and mix well. Turn off the heat.
  • In a serving dish serve hot.
