- Idly's - 4 shopping list
- Mustard seeds- 1/4 tsp shopping list
- Curry leaves- 10 leaves shopping list
- Ginger garlic paste- 1 tsp shopping list
- Onion- 1 shopping list
- Green Chilies- 4, split shopping list
- tomato- 1 shopping list
- Coriander powder- 1/4 tsp shopping list
- Cumin powder- 1/4 tsp shopping list
- Garam masala powder- 1/4 tsp shopping list
- Soy sauce - 1 tsp shopping list
- Tomato sauce- 1 tsp shopping list
- Salt to taste shopping list
- Oil for frying shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a deep fry pan.
- Cut Idlys into 1 inch cubes.
- Fry them in the oil till golden brown and keep aside.
- In a separate pan heat 2 tsp of oil and add mustard seeds, let it crackle, add curry leaves, then add onions and fry for 2 minutes. add ginger garlic paste and chillies, fry for about 2 minutes.
- Finally add tomato. When tomato is cooked, add all the powders, soy sauce and tomato sauce, add salt to taste, saute it for a minute.
- Add the fried idlies and mix well. Turn off the heat.
- In a serving dish serve hot.
