How to make it

  • 1. Put flour into a mixing bowl with the butter.
  • 2. Using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the flour.
  • 3. add salt and water.
  • 4. Mix until dough is formed and knead a few times.
  • 5. Divide dough in half.
  • 6. Roll out each half on flat surface.
  • 7. Fit one piecrust to the pie pan.
  • 8. Fill with pie ingredients.
  • 9. Cover with second pie crust and press edges together.
  • 10. Pierce top crust with a sharp knife.
  • 11. Bake according to pie recipe directions.
  • 12. Remove and let cool.
