Burritos Recipe

- 1 lb. round steak shopping list
- - 1 beef bouillon shopping list
- - 1 can El Pato (mexican tomato sauce) shopping list
- - salt , pepper, garlic salt, and chili powder shopping list
- - serrano peppers (I use 2) shopping list
- - jalapenos (I use 2) shopping list
- - 1 onion shopping list
- - potatoes shopping list
- - flour tortillas shopping list
How to make it
- First step:
- - cook the round steak in a fry pan with water added
- - cut up the round steak and place in crock pot
- - add 1/2 cup water, the beef bouillon, the El Pato, and the seasonings
- - add the serrano and jalapeno peppers
- - let cook for 5 or 6 hrs (can be varied greatly)
- - half boil the potatoes
- Second step (1 to 3 hours before serving):
- - add diced onion
- - add cubed half-boiled potatoes
- - add more seasonings to taste
- Serve in tortillas with fresh salsa
- Alternate method if time is a consideration:
- - use a pressure cooker instead of the crock pot, although finish with the second step
- - Use ranch style beans instead of potatoes to eliminate the second step, and put onions in with the first step
