Broccoli, Rice And Cheese Casserole Recipe

How to make it

  • In medium saucepan, over medium-high heat, melt butter.
  • Add onion and garlic and saute 2 minutes
  • Add 1 2/3 cups water, rice mix and seasonings packet. Stir.
  • Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low. Simmer 20 minutes.
  • Stir in broccoli. Cover. Simmer 10 more minutes, or until white rice is tender. Stir in cheese to combine and allow cheese to melt.
  • You can either serve directly from the saucepan, topped with the nuts, or you can spread in a greased casserole dish and put more grated cheese and the nuts on top, and put in the over to keep warm until serving time.
