Ingredients
  • <b>CENTERS:</b>
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed condensed milk
  • ¼ pound softened margarine
  • 2½ pounds powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon maple extract
  • ½ cup pecan halves (measured, then gound)
  • <b>CHOCOLATE:</b>
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet bits
  • 6 ounces unsweetened chocolate

Directions
  1. <b>CENTERS:</b> Blend ingredients, shape into 1-inch balls, and chill for a few hours or overnight. using a toothpick, dip each ball into chocolate and cool on waxed paper. (Mint extract may be used in place of the maple.)
  2. <b>CHOCOLATE:</b> Melt chocolate in double boiler and blend thoroughly. Dip each center quickly and place on waxed paper. Cover toothpick hole with a bit more of the chocolate. Refrigerate to harden the chocolate. NOTE: Keep water under chocolate at a low boil while dipping the centers.
