Peach Lattice Gate Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

3 cups flour

½ cup sugar

¼ teasoon baking soda

¾ teaspoon salt

½ cup sour cream

2 egg yolks

1 can peach pie filling

Powdered sugar

Directions

Blend butter and flour as for pie crust. Add sugar, baking soda and salt. Make a well, and add sour cream and egg yolks. Mix well. Roll out 2/3 of the dough and press into ungreased pan (9 x 12-inch.) Cover with pir filling. Roll out remaining dough and cut into strips. Use the strips for a lattice top over the filling. Bake at 350° F for 30-40 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over the top.
