- - 1 lb. lean ground beef shopping list
- - 2 oz. sliced ham, minced shopping list
- - 1⁄3 cup dry red or white wine shopping list
- - 1⁄4 cup grated cheddar shopping list
- - 2 tbsp. capers, drained shopping list
- - 2 tbsp. grated tart apple (That's right. A tart apple. Your choice). shopping list
- - 1 tbsp. minced parsley shopping list
- - 1 tbsp. soy sauce shopping list
- - 1 1⁄2 tsp. ground sage shopping list
- - 1 1⁄2 tsp. India relish shopping list
- - 1⁄2 tsp. Beau Monde seasoning shopping list
- - 2 cloves garlic, minced garlic, minced shopping list
- - 2 small scallions, minced shopping list
- - 1 egg, beaten shopping list
- - 1 plum tomato, cored, peeled, and grated shopping list
- - 1⁄2 small carrot, grated shopping list
- - 1⁄2 small yellow onion, grated shopping list
- - Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste shopping list
- - 1 tbsp. canola oil shopping list
- - Hamburger buns (sesame seed), lettuce, sliced tomato and onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise, for serving shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Mix ingredients, except for oil, buns, and condiments, in a bowl; form into four 6-oz. patties.
- 2. Heat oil in a 12" skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3. Cook patties, flipping once, until cooked to desired "doneness", 8–10 minutes for medium rare.
- 4. Serve on buns with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup, mustard, and mayonnaise.
