How to make it

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add wet ingredients one at a time and mix well. Pour batter into a well greased 11 x 13 x 2 inch pan (or two layer pans). Bake 30-35 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool 20-30 minutes before frosting.
  • *FROSTING - In a small bowl, melt chocolate in the microwave. In a large mixing bowl, add powdered sugar, melted chocolate, butter, and hazelnut extract. Mix together, adding milk or coffee as needed. Beat until smooth and light. Frost cake.
