Eggy Bread With Crispy Bacon

- 2 Eggs shopping list
- 1tbsp Milk shopping list
- 2 slices White bread shopping list
- 1tbsp butter shopping list
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- 2 slices bacon - fried to a crisp shopping list
- Serve with tomato ketchup or brown sauce. shopping list
How to make it
- Lightly beat the egg and milk together in a shallow bowl and season with salt and black pepper.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure it has soaked up all of the liquid;
- Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and add the butter;
- Swirl the butter around the pan and when it's beginning to foam, add the bread and fry on each side for 2 to 3 to 4 minutes or so or until golden brown.
- Transfer to a warm plate and serve with the crispy bacon
