An interesting variation of an old favorite.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter flavored Crisco
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp light molasses
  • 1 tbsp milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 cups quick oats (not instant or old-fashioned)
  • 1 cup coarsly chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Directions
  1. Cream together all ingredients except, oats, pecans & raisins.
  2. Stir in oats, raisins and pecans.
  3. Make 1-inch balls and drop 2-inches apart on cookie sheets.
  4. Bake in 350^ F oven for 11-12 minutes.
