My Great grandmother's recipie, a Syrian dish our family has always enjoyed

Ingredients
  • Package white rice-cook according to package however much you want
  • 2 small cans tomato sauce
  • 1 can of peas
  • Cinnamon
  • Pita bread if desired
  • 1lb ground beef

Directions
  1. Brown beef in skillet
  2. Cook rice according to package
  3. In another pot place tomato sauce, peas, half a can of tomato sauce filled with water, cook on medium
  4. When beef is browned add to tomato sauce mixture, heat and stir
  5. Place rice on a plate, sprinkle with cinnamon add beef and tomato mixture on top
  6. May eat this way, or stuff in pita bread
