An easy, yummy, sweet, chocolate chip pie. A favorite of my kids and simple to make.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 9-inch pie crust

Directions
  1. Mix the sugar, egg, vanilla, flour and butter together in a medium bowl and mix well.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips and pour into pie crust.
  3. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. To keep crust from getting too dark I recommend wrapping foil around the edges for the first 30 minutes.
  5. Cool and cut into pieces.
