How to make it

  • In a saucepan melt the butter over low heat until browned. This will take about 10 minutes. Cool.
  • In a mixing bowl beat the eggs then add the sugar, corn syrup, honey, vanill and almond extracts, salt, and melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  • Add the almonds in and pour into the pastry shell.
  • Bake at 425 degrees for about 10 minutes then reduce heat to 325 and bake another 40 minutes or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  • Cool then garnish with whipped cream and extra toasted almonds.
