Tomato soup from a can just got better. Adding a little cream for taste, parsley for color, and shredded parmesan cheese for texture.

Ingredients
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup "creamy item": heavy cream, or cream cheese, or sour cream
  • dash parmesan cheese (for texture)
  • 2 dashes parsley flakes (for color)

Directions
  1. In a saucepan on medium heat, pour in tomato soup, milk, and “creamy” item. Let it come to a boil, while stirring, then turn the heat down to low and let simmer for a few minutes. Add your dashes of parm cheese and parsley flakes. Serve with bread, rolls, or I love to make grilled cheese sandwiches to dip them in the soup.
