How to make it

  • Drain oysters, saving liquor.
  • Combine crumbs, butter, salt and pepper.
  • Spread 1/3 of buttered crumbs in greased casserole.
  • Cover with 1/2 of the oysters.
  • Using another 1/3 of crumbs, spread second layer
  • cover with remaining oysters.
  • Combine cream, oysters liquor and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Pour over oysters.
  • Top with last of crumbs.
  • Bake in moderate oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
