  • 1 LB GROUND BEEF
  • 1 LB GROUND PORK
  • 2 LB SAUSAGE beef or smoked or polish
  • 1 HEAD CABBAGE
  • 1 ½ CUPS COOKED RICE
  • 1 MED ONION
  • 1 LARGE CAN SOUR KRAUT
  • 3 SMALL CANS TOMATO SAUCE
  • 2 CLOVES GARLIC
  • 1 EGG
  • SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
  • 1 BEER

Directions
  1. IN BOWL MIX BEEF, PORK, RICE, EGG, ONION,GARLIC,SALT, AND PEPPER. SET ASIDE.
  2. SOFTEN CABBAGE LEAVES IN BOILING WATER LET COOL TRIM THICK END OF LEAF TO MAKE IT EASY
  3. TO ROLL PUT MEAT AT BOTTOM OF LEAF ROLL ONCE
  4. THEN FOLD RIGHT SIDE IN ROLL UP REST OF THE WAY THEN TUCK LEFT SIDE IN.
  5. IN ROASTING PAN POUR IN SOUR KRAUT AND LIQUID AND SPREAD OUT. PLACE CABBAGE ROLLS AND SAUSAGE PIECES ON TOP OF KRAUT. ANY LEFT OVER CABBAGE CHOP UP AND PUT IN. THEN IN A BOWL MIX 3 CANS OF TOMATO SAUCE AND BEER AND ABOUT 2 CUPS OF WATER POUR OVER TOP OF CABBAGE ROLLS
  6. COVER AND BAKE AT 300 DEGREES ABOUT 1 HOUR OR SO. SERVE WITH HARD ROLLS OR HEARTY BREAD.
