- 1 LB ground pork shopping list
- 2 LB sausagE beef or smoked or polish shopping list
- 1 HEAD cabbage shopping list
- 1 ½ CUPS cooked rice shopping list
- 1 MED onion shopping list
- 1 LARGE CAN SOUR KRAUT shopping list
- 3 SMALL CANS tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- salt & pepper TO TASTE shopping list
- 1 beer shopping list
How to make it
- IN BOWL MIX BEEF, PORK, RICE, EGG, ONION,GARLIC,SALT, AND PEPPER. SET ASIDE.
- SOFTEN CABBAGE LEAVES IN BOILING WATER LET COOL TRIM THICK END OF LEAF TO MAKE IT EASY
- TO ROLL PUT MEAT AT BOTTOM OF LEAF ROLL ONCE
- THEN FOLD RIGHT SIDE IN ROLL UP REST OF THE WAY THEN TUCK LEFT SIDE IN.
- IN ROASTING PAN POUR IN SOUR KRAUT AND LIQUID AND SPREAD OUT. PLACE CABBAGE ROLLS AND SAUSAGE PIECES ON TOP OF KRAUT. ANY LEFT OVER CABBAGE CHOP UP AND PUT IN. THEN IN A BOWL MIX 3 CANS OF TOMATO SAUCE AND BEER AND ABOUT 2 CUPS OF WATER POUR OVER TOP OF CABBAGE ROLLS
- COVER AND BAKE AT 300 DEGREES ABOUT 1 HOUR OR SO. SERVE WITH HARD ROLLS OR HEARTY BREAD.
