- 8 oz elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1 lb ground beef shopping list
- 15 oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix shopping list
- 15 oz can chili or kidney beans shopping list
- 1/4 c milk shopping list
- 2 1/2 c shredded cheddar cheese shopping list
- 2 c shredded lettuce(optional) shopping list
- 1 large tomato diced(optional) shopping list
- 1/2 c black olives sliced(optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare macaroni according to package
- Drain
- In large skillet brown meat
- Drain
- Add taco seasoning, tomato sauce, beans (and olives if you wish)
- simmer uncovered 5 minutes
- stir in milk 2 cups of cheese into hot macaroni
- In 3 quart casserole dish layer 1/2 the macaroni mixture, 1/2 the meat mixture
- then the remaining macaroni mixture and the remaining meat mixture
- bake uncovered at 375*F 25-30 minutes
- Top with lettuce, tomato and remaining cheese
