- 2 lb ground round beef shopping list
- 3 chopped onions shopping list
- 2 diced green peppers shopping list
- 6 mashed garlic cloves shopping list
- extra virgin olive oil for sauteing shopping list
- 3 ripe, chopped tomatoes shopping list
- 1-1.2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon green olive juice (liquid the olives are packed in) shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin shopping list
- 1 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 2 bay leaves shopping list
- juice of 1/2 lime shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped pimiento-stuffed green olives shopping list
- 1/4 cup raisins shopping list
- 1, 8 oz can tomato sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbs. tomato paste shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté onions and green pepper in olive oil till soft. Add garlic and saute 30 seconds. Add meat and salt. Stir frequently five minutes. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste and stir. Add rest of ingredients and simmer, uncovered, stirring occasionally, 30 minutes.
