How to make it

  • Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  • Add the cream, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Simmer for 10-12 minutes or until thick.
  • At the same time, boil the pasta according to package.
  • When the alfredo has reached the desired consistency, stir in the parmesan cheese.
  • Serve over the cooked, drained pasta.

    I added almost two cups of parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup just wasn't enough.
