How to make it

  • Brown your choice of ground meat.
  • Add your taco seasoning and prepare as if your making meat for tacos.
  • Meanwhile pour about 1/2 an inch of oil into stove top pan. And turn in on medium/low
  • When taco meat is thouroughly cooked add cheese about 3/4 package, refried beans, chopped onions
  • cook and stir till cheese and beans are well blended with meat.
  • Lay a shell on the table add about 3/4 of a cup of mixture onto the middle of the shell fold all 4 sides in to make a square use a toothpick to secure the shell sides in place.
  • Carefully set the shell in the oil. Adjust the temperature accordingly to how the chimichanga is cooking. Cook bothe sides till golden brown. Remove from oil add toppings and enjoy!
  • This is a simple failure free recipe.
