How to make it

  • Clean, seed, and chop the peppers into short strips. If using frozen peppers, you can let them thaw out a little bit.
  • Slice the garlic into large pieces (thirds or quarters)
  • Heat the olive oil in a pan until fragrant and hot.
  • Saute the garlic until fragrant and hot, but not browned. You're trying to soften it up.
  • Add the peppers. Stir and saute. Sprinkle thyme over the top.
  • Cook until the peppers are soft, hot, and done.
