How to make it

  • Butter an 8" glass baking dish.
  • Trim crusts from bread and fit 4 slices into dish.
  • Combine ham with mustard and parsley, and mix well.
  • Spread ham on half the bread, then sprinkle cheese over ham.
  • Top with remaining slices of bread, cut diagonally.
  • Combine milk with eggs and seasoning and stir well.
  • Pour mixture over bread.
  • Let stand for 30 minutes.
  • Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes.
