Ingredients
  • 3 CUPS OF ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 3 TEASPOONS BAKING POWDER
  • PINCH OF SALT
  • 1/4 POUND PLUS 4 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
  • 1 1/2 CUPS SUGAR
  • 3 LARGE EGGS
  • 1 CUP MILK
  • 1/2 CUP MOLASSES
  • 1 1/2 TEASPOON CINNAMON
  • 1/2 TEASPOON GROUND CLOVES
  • 1/4 TEASPOON GROUND GINGER

Directions
  1. 1. PREHEAT OVEN TO 350F
  2. 2. STIR TOGATHER THE FLOWER,BAKING POWDER, AND SALT ( SET ASIDE)
  3. 3. CREAM THE BUTTET AND SUGAR. BEAT IN THE EGGS(1 AT A TIME). ADD THE FLOUR MIXTURE ALTERNATELY WITH THE MILK. BEAT THE BATTER FOR 30 SCEONDS
  4. 4.POUR HALF THE BATTER INTO ONE BOWL. STIE IN THE MOLASSES AND SPICES. (NOW YOU HAVE TWO BOWLS OF BATTER .ONE LIGHT AND ONE DARK. POUR THE LIGHT AND THE DARK BATTERS ALTERNATELY INTO 2 LIGHTLY FLOWERED WELL-GREASED LOAF PANS. BAKE FOR 45 MINUTES, OR UNTIL DONE.COOL AND FROST IF DESIRED.

Alterations


It would be better if it could be put in alternating method by spooning method for eg: one spoon of white batter nd the other spoon of black batter
