Sausage Gravy Recipe
Serve over Buttermilk Biscuits. The amount of Flour can be changed to consistency you like. I always go by taste. You can also double or decrease the recipe servings.

Ingredients
  • 3 lb BULK SAUSAGE MEAT
  • 2/3 C CHOPPED ONION
  • 3/4 C FLOUR
  • 8 c HOT 1/2 & 1/2
  • SEA SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE
  • 1tb BON APPETITE OR TO TASTE
  • 1/2 tb POULTRY SEASONING OR TO TASTE
  • 1 tb CAVENDERS OR TO TASTE

Directions
  1. HEAT THE PAN AND FRY SAUSAGE AND ONION UNTIL SAUSAGE IS BROWN AND ONION IS CLEAR. DRAIN OFF GREASE EXCEPT FOR 2 TABLESPOONS. STIR IN FLOWER AND COOK FOR A MINUTE. ADD THE HOT 1/2 & 1/2. (HEAT IN THE MICROWAVE). ADD SPICES. STIR CONSTANTLY UNTIL MIXTURE THICKENS AND THEN SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. NOT TOO MUCH SALT!
