How to make it

  • Marinate the pork and mushroom with oyster sauce, pepper(a pinch) , dark & light soy sauce(1 spoon each)
  • Heat up little oil
  • Stir fry garlic till fragrant
  • Add in marinated pork and mushroom, stir fry for 5 mins
  • Add in sugar before transferring to the pot for braise
  • Add in enough water to cover the meat in the pot
  • Add in the pre-boiled eggs
  • Braise in middle flame for an hour and more
  • When sauce is thicken and the pork is tender, serve with rice

    wow! in my culture, we also have this recipe. we call it sweet meat in Hmong. I love this dish. We make it for special occassions. :D
