How to make it

  • Melt butter and beat eggs separately.
  • Dump Jiffy mix (Sift your jiffy mix for fluffier results) into a large mixing bowl and add drained whole kernel corn and creamed com.
  • Add melted butter to beaten eggs, corn syrup/*ancehoney and add sour cream last. (Do not add HOT melted butter to your mix. Allow a few minutes for cooling then add the sour cream. Otherwise, it will precook the batter)
  • Mix all ingredients together well. (Do not over beat your
  • batter while mixing. Over beaten batter will result in a mushy bake)
  • Bake for 45 minutes until golden brown.
  • Allow 20 minutes to cool and set, then serve.
