This puts a zing in a tuna sandwhich. I found this recipe a long time ago on meals.com. It is the first and last recipe I will try for tuna melts. It is definetly a family favoriate.

Ingredients
  • 2 cans albacore
  • 1/2 cup mayo (I dont measure this out, I just put enough in to make it moist)
  • 1/2 cup cheese (I dont measure this either I just throw it in)
  • 2 green onions
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • rolls

Directions
  1. Drain cans of albacore.
  2. Put tuna in a bowl.
  3. Add graded cheese to bowl.
  4. Rinse green onions, cut them up, and place in bowl.
  5. Add pepper and garlic salt.
  6. Mix it a couple times and then add the mayo.
  7. Preheart you oven or toaster oven to 325.
  8. On your cookie sheet cut the rolls in halve.
  9. Place the bottom have upright with the tuna on it.
  10. Then take the top half and place it upright on the pan.
  11. Makes for a really yummy sandwhich.
  12. If you have leftover tuna makes for a good snack to put on saltines.
