Bagna Cauda Recipe
An excellent dip if you love garlic. My family traditionally makes this on New Years Eve.

Ingredients
  • 1/2c olive oil
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 4-6 garlic cloves, very thinly sliced
  • 7oz anchovies

Directions
  1. Heat olive oil and butter in pot over low heat. Add garlic and anchovies and cook until anchovies "melt" into a paste, about 10 minutes. Keep warm and serve with raw vegetables and bread for dipping.

My dad makes croutons with a similar recipe. He pours it over french bread, cubed and dried in the oven. I think it will be great on veggies too!
