Calico Baked Beans

This is the perfect side for a summer BBQ. Make it the day before and warm it in the microwave! So versitile it can also be made in the crock pot. It's a can I have the recipe, recipe!
Ingredients
- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lb bacon chopped shopping list
- 1 medium onion diced shopping list
- 1 large can baked beans shopping list
- 1 can kidney beans shopping list
- 1 can butter beans shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar (I use dark for a richer flavor) shopping list
- 1/2 cup catsup shopping list
- 2 TBS white vinegar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven 350 degrees
- brown beef, bacon and onion - HINT double the meat mixture and freeze half for next time, it saves TONS of time!
- drain and rinse kidney and butter beans
- in a 9x13 pan or 2 qt bowl mix beans with meat mixture - I use a bowl to reheat easily in the microwave
- mix together remaining ingredients
- stir into beans and meat
- COVER and bake for one hour
