How to make it

  • First look over your pinto beans for little rocks or discolored beans.
  • Add beans to a slow cooker (crock pot)
  • Add a few shakes of Cavender's Greek Season
  • Cover with water (to near top of cooker)
  • Put lid on slow cooker
  • Set slow cooker to LOW cook for 12 or so hours.
  • Check on it from time to time, stir, add water as needed.
  • Best served with cornbread, greens, slice of onion, & soft fried potatoes. Garnish with a few shakes of pepper vinegar.
