How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • In large bowl, combine oats, sunflower seeds, bran, pecans and almonds. Drizzle with oil and toss well to coat evenly
  • In small saucepan over low heat, warm honey until liquified (3-5 minutes)
  • Drizzle honey over oat mixture and re-toss
  • Spread mixture evenly among baking sheets - don't overstuff sheets, use as many as needed
  • Bake for 15 minutes
  • Remove from oven, stir granola well and spread out again
  • Reduce oven temp. to 325 degrees and bake 15-20 more mointes, stirring twice, until evenly browned
  • Remove pans from oven and let granola cool completely, mix in cranberries
  • Meanwhile...whisk together yogurt and syrup (add to granola when eating, do not mix all together - keep in separate containers)
  • Granola, kept in air-tight container, keeps for up to 2 weeks
  • Top with fresh berries
