Granola with Maple-Yogurt Swirl

- 5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups unsalted sunflower seeds shopping list
- 1 cup wheat or oat bran shopping list
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/ 2 cup sliced almonds shopping list
- 3 tbsp. canola oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 2/3 cup dried cranberries shopping list
- 4 cups non-fat plain yogurt shopping list
- 6 tbsp. maple syrup shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- In large bowl, combine oats, sunflower seeds, bran, pecans and almonds. Drizzle with oil and toss well to coat evenly
- In small saucepan over low heat, warm honey until liquified (3-5 minutes)
- Drizzle honey over oat mixture and re-toss
- Spread mixture evenly among baking sheets - don't overstuff sheets, use as many as needed
- Bake for 15 minutes
- Remove from oven, stir granola well and spread out again
- Reduce oven temp. to 325 degrees and bake 15-20 more mointes, stirring twice, until evenly browned
- Remove pans from oven and let granola cool completely, mix in cranberries
- Meanwhile...whisk together yogurt and syrup (add to granola when eating, do not mix all together - keep in separate containers)
- Granola, kept in air-tight container, keeps for up to 2 weeks
- Top with fresh berries
