How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 425F
  • Remove sausage from casings and crumble
  • Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat
  • Add sausage and onion; saute 5-7 minutes, until lightly browned
  • Grease 15x10 inch pan
  • Open and unroll 1 pkg. pizza dough onto pan, pressing it out toward edges
  • Top with 1/2 sausage mixture and sprinkle with 1 cup cheese
  • Spread on 1/2 the sauce
  • Place second crust on top and layer with remaining sauce, sausage mixture and cheese
  • Top with parsley, mushrooms and/or peppers
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until crust is golden brown
