How to make it

  • Cook pasta according to package directions and drain
  • In large skillet, cook onions in oil for about 5 minutes
  • Stir in broccoli, water, undrained diced tomatoes and tomato paste
  • Simmer for about 3 minutes
  • Combine sauce and ricotta cheese in a large bowl
  • Add pasta and toss
  • Spoon into oiled 3 quart baking dish and sprinkle with mozzarella and parmesan cheeses
  • Bake in preheated 350F oven for about 25 minutes or until hot and cheeses are melted
  • Garnish with fresh basil, if desired
