Baked Custard

- 4 large eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract shopping list
- ground nutmeg shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F
- Combine eggs, sugar and salt in a large mixer bowl
- Add evaporated milk, water and vanilla extract
- Beat until mixed
- Pour into 6 - 6 oz. custard cups
- Sprinkle with nutmeg
- Place cups in 13x9 inch baking pan
- Fill pan with hot water to 1 inch depth
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until knife insterted near center comes out clean
- Remove cups to wire rack to cool completely
- Refrigerated until ready to serve
