Ingredients
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • Ground nutmeg

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F
  2. Combine eggs, sugar and salt in a large mixer bowl
  3. Add evaporated milk, water and vanilla extract
  4. Beat until mixed
  5. Pour into 6 - 6 oz. custard cups
  6. Sprinkle with nutmeg
  7. Place cups in 13x9 inch baking pan
  8. Fill pan with hot water to 1 inch depth
  9. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until knife insterted near center comes out clean
  10. Remove cups to wire rack to cool completely
  11. Refrigerated until ready to serve
