How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 190c
- Mix all ingredients together until it forms a dough, the good ole Irish way is to use your hands!! But you can use a mixer if you wish.
- Dust hands with some flour and remove the dough from the bowl, no need to knead(sp) the bread just dust it slightly and shape the dough into a round ball and place on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper or place the dough into a bread tin. Lightly dust the top of the bread and place an X in the middle of the bread with a knife.
- Place in the middle of the preheated over for 35-40 mins. Remove from the oven place on a wired tray (or wrap in a tea towel, making sure the bread is raised off the table, place on the wired tray or lean it up against something)
- Allow to cool then serve with butter, jam, chesse or whatever takes your fancy.. Enjoy :)
