How to make it

  • Chop the tomatoes
  • Crush the garlics
  • Chop the large onion and spring onion
  • Splint the chilis into two
  • Smash tofu then mix with all ingredientsexcept banana leaves.
  • Scoop 3-5 spoons of tofu then add 1 piece of bay leaves and cover it with the banana leaves.
  • Repeat until you have run out of tofu
  • Heat steamer then steam tofu for 20-30 min.
  • Serve with warm jasmine rice.

    Actually it's a good dish but I prefer it with dried shrimp instead of the fish.

    Yep very nice, my pembantu makes it with sayur only.
